New faces in new places highlight ESPN doubleheader

Kyrie and Luka are in New Orleans for the playoffs, and Kawhi has joined his old team, The Crypt. This will be a big focus for the rest of the season.

This is the time when we are in the playoffs. With most teams having about 15-17 games left in their regular season, each game is very important.

The Western Conference is very tight, with five teams only three games away from each other. In the first game of ESPN’s doubleheader, the Dallas Mavericks (34-32) played the New Orleans Pelicans (31-34). Kyrie Irving had 33 points and 8 assists, and Luka Doncic had 29 points and 6 assists. This was their first win together.

The Los Angeles Clippers won their first game with Russell Westbrook playing, beating the Grizzlies. Westbrook has been playing well, averaging 15.3 points on 52.1% shooting with 4.0 rebounds and 8.3 assists a night. However, it’s questionable whether or not Westbrook has helped the Clips improve their net rating (-6.2) over that span. After trading Jakob Poeltl, many people thought the Raptors would sell off their players. But they’ve been doing good since he came back, and they’re in the ninth seed in the East. They have a good shot at getting a play-in game or getting a better pick in the draft lottery.

DraftKings odds

The Mavericks are two points favorites to win in New Orleans, and the Pelicans are missing key players. In the Battle of the Small Forwards in Los Angeles, the Clippers are 3.5 points favorites against the visiting Raptors. Sixth Man of the Year candidate Norman Powell is out with a dislocated shoulder.

After missing two weeks, Fred VanVleet is averaging 15.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 10 assists in his four-game return. Many people think that the Raptors are committed to making the playoffs this spring, so VanVleet is playing a lot of minutes each night. Someone at DraftKings has created a parlay in which they are giving +330 odds if VanVleet hits 25+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 5+ assists.
